PosterGoddess.com was created to celebrate and showcase female artists involved in the genre of the modern poster, print, and illustration market. And by extension to celebrate the expression of the female form in the context of the contemporary art world.
PosterGoddess founder Anna Witt is a New York based artist who has been quietly making a name for herself as first assistant to the renowned American painter David Welker. After studying painting and design at F.I.T. she began apprenticing at Welker Studios in New York in 2004 where her passion for art and music led her to a deep appreciation for the fabulous world of Rock & Roll Poster Art.
Her original art and prints are featured here along with her personal collection of modern posters and art prints. PosterGoddess.com will also feature some of Annas' favorite female contemporary artists.
